On the road again.

April

This month really did fly by, so fast in fact i have to think if we've made it through April yet or is it still March? Andrea went to Barrie Ontario to meet with Dr's for future work and i stayed in Vancouver. Second week in and we both met up in Chicago for 4 days for a wedding and other activities such as a Cubs ball game and some random eating and drinking time. We spent Sunday after the wedding taking in the sights by foot, i still believe everyone should see this beautiful city at least once. Hotel we stayed in was very nice, was once owned by Hugh Hefner and Al Capone, found the Capone side of the story more interesting considering the hotel also contained secret doorways from the big guys time.


Once we were back in Vancouver we had 2 weeks to pack our belongings, sell our furniture and clean the place before May 1st when we had planned to leave the city.
You never realize how much you own until you have to pack it up and move it. It does make out for a good spring cleaning though considering you have to decide "do i need this anymore?"
Cleaning the place afterwards is a similar story because you don't realize how filthy a place is till you have to scrub every inch of it, and we thought we were very clean people.
So after a bit of stress and a lot of planning to getting everything done we finally walked out of the place on the 30th.
